In addition to my epidemiology research, I have studied a variety of issues related to race and diversity in medical education, as well as created programming dedicated to eliminating race-based medicine. I am also interested factors that impact academic performance among underrepresented students dual-degree medical trainees. Further, I provide mentoring and professional development for underrepresented students through various programs.
